Unlike conventional screw elevators, the UniTrak Powderflight Olds Elevator employs a cylindrical casing that rotates around a fixed stationary screw. Material enters the casing through intake scoops and slides gently upward with minimal transport friction.

Only one moving part contacts the material—the tubular casing with attached in-feed scoops and delivery slinger, rotating around the static screw. Generous clearance between screw diameter and tube improves energy efficiency and prevents casing wear, damage to material, and metal-on-metal contact.

At the top, material flows from the casing in a 360° pattern, into a discharge head with a chute or spout configured to your application

Simple design—low maintenance costs. No linkages, chains, sprockets, blowers, buckets or compressors to service or replace. Cleaning takes just a few minutes.

No segregation of differing size particles. Mixtures with particle bulk densities ranging from 160 to 1440 kg/m3 have been elevated with no measurable segregation. (Materials with bulk densities up to 4500 kg/m3 have been elevated.)

No exposure to machine oil or airborne contaminants. All bearings are external. Your product comes into contact only with the intake scoops, casing and screw.

Rapid clean-out (optional) Reversing the casing rotation empties the column completely in seconds. Feed hopper drain allows easy removal of residual material.

Dust-free elevation. No internal dust is generated.

No need for compressors, blowers, vacuum or dust-control equipment, intermediate screw feeders, hoppers or noise-reduction measures. Bulk materials move directly from floor level to feed processors.

Simply adjusting the casing speed with an optional variable frequency drive enables the operator to control volumetric flow rate within 1-3% accuracy, or better.
No need for separate metering. As long as the intake scoops remain covered with product, the UniTrak Powderflight Olds Elevator will deliver product at a precise, controlled rate. At any speed, material discharges in a smooth, steady stream without pulsations.
